Spring in Southern Appalachia is something special. After months of winter skies and quiet forests, the mountains slowly come back to life. The trees begin to bud, wildflowers push through the forest floor, and the air takes on that cool, fresh feeling that only springtime in the mountains can bring.
Here at Cullowheegee Farms, spring is one of the most exciting times of the year.
Besides making soap, we’re passionate gardeners. Around our farm you’ll find flower beds full of both annual and perennial blooms, along with multiple vegetable beds that keep us busy from early spring through fall. Each year we grow a wide variety of vegetables like tomatoes, beans, squash, okra, herbs, and a huge assortment of peppers. Spring is when everything begins again—seeds are planted, seedlings go into the soil, and the garden starts waking up after winter.
That feeling of renewal, anticipation, and fresh growth is exactly what inspired our
We wanted this collection to capture the scents and experiences that define spring for us—working in the garden, breathing in the cool mountain air, and watching the landscape burst into bloom.
Garden Thyme
Garden Thyme was inspired by the herb beds on our farm. As we begin planting and tending the garden each spring, the scent of fresh herbs fills the air. Brushing past thyme, rosemary, and other herbs releases bright, green aromas that instantly make you feel connected to the garden. This soap captures that vibrant herbal freshness and the simple joy of being surrounded by living plants and rich soil.
Ridge Water
In the Southern Appalachians, spring also means flowing creeks, cool mountain breezes, and the clean scent of rain on the forest. Ridge Water was inspired by the refreshing feeling of standing along a mountain ridge after a spring shower, breathing in crisp air and the scent of evergreens. It’s bright, clean, and invigorating—like a deep breath of fresh mountain air.
Dogwood Bloom
Nothing says spring in our region quite like the blooming dogwood trees. Their soft white blossoms appear throughout the mountains each year, dotting hillsides and forest edges and signaling that warmer days are here. Dogwood Bloom was inspired by these iconic Appalachian flowers and the gentle beauty they bring to the landscape each spring.
Like all of our soaps, the Spring 2026 Collection is made in small batches using nourishing plant oils and pure essential oils. We never use artificial fragrances, synthetic colors, palm oil, or plastic packaging—choices that reflect our commitment to both quality and the environment.
For us, spring is about growth, renewal, and spending long days outdoors with our hands in the soil. This collection is our way of capturing that energy and sharing a little piece of springtime in the Southern Appalachians with you. 🌿🌸
We hope our Spring 2026 Natural Body Soap Collection brings the fresh, vibrant spirit of the season into your daily routine.
