There’s something special about fall in the mountains.
The mornings get a little cooler, the leaves begin to change, and the smell of woodsmoke starts drifting through the air. It’s the season for cozy sweaters, campfires, crisp hikes, and slowing down just a little.
Inspired by everything we love about autumn in the Appalachian Mountains, we created our new Fall Seasonal Body Soap Collection. This limited-edition collection features three handcrafted cold-process soaps, each inspired by a different piece of the season.
Meet Fire on the Mountain, Last Light, and Hot Toddy.
As always, each Cullowheegee Farms soap is handmade in small batches using thoughtfully chosen plant-based ingredients, pure essential oils, and natural colors from botanicals, clays, herbs, and roots. No synthetic fragrances. No synthetic dyes. No palm oil. Just good, nourishing ingredients made with intention.
Fire on the Mountain
Some fall evenings call for a campfire.
Fire on the Mountain is inspired by those cool mountain nights when the sun has gone down, the fire is burning bright, and everyone gathers around for warmth. It’s rustic, smoky, warm, and unmistakably autumn.
This returning favorite was brought back because so many of you asked for it. And we couldn’t say no!
Fire on the Mountain features a warm, earthy essential oil blend with balsam fir and sandalwood that captures the feeling of sitting around a mountain fire as the temperature drops. Natural clays and botanicals give this bar its rich, mountain scape while helping create a creamy, luxurious lather.
It’s the kind of soap that feels right after a long day outside—whether you spent it hiking a mountain trail, working in the garden, or simply enjoying a crisp fall afternoon.
Last Light
There’s a certain magic to that last bit of sunlight in the mountains.
Last Light was inspired by the golden glow that settles over the Blue Ridge just before the sun disappears behind the mountains. It’s that quiet moment when the sky seems to hold onto the day for just a few more minutes.
This bar has a warm, atmospheric scent designed to evoke those peaceful autumn evenings. Thoughtfully selected essential oils give Last Light its distinctive seasonal character, while natural clays and plant-based ingredients provide the beautiful color and creamy lather you expect from a Cullowheegee Farms soap.
Last Light is for those moments when you’re ready to slow down, wash away the day, and settle into the season.
Hot Toddy
Our Hot Toddy soap takes inspiration from one of the coziest fall and winter traditions—a warm mug of something comforting on a chilly evening.
Of course, you can’t drink this one!
Instead, we captured the spirit of a hot toddy in a handcrafted body soap using a warm, inviting essential oil blend with orange, clove, cinnamon and patchouli. The result is a bar that feels like fall in the mountains: cozy, spicy, comforting, and perfect for cooler days.
Like all of our soaps, Hot Toddy is made with our nourishing base of plant oils and butters, including olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, avocado oil, and castor oil. Natural ingredients such as clays and botanicals provide color without synthetic dyes or micas. Local honey and citrus peel add a nice touch of luxury.
It’s basically sweater weather in a bar of soap.

Our Fall Seasonal Body Soap Collection is more than just a collection of seasonal scents. Each bar was created to capture a feeling—a mountain campfire, the final glow of a fall sunset, or a warm drink on a chilly evening.
Every bar is cold-process handcrafted right here at Cullowheegee Farms in Tuckasegee, North Carolina. We pour, cut, stamp, polish, and label each bar by hand before giving it four weeks to cure.
We believe natural skincare doesn't need to be complicated. Our soaps are made with plant-based oils and butters and scented only with pure essential oils. We use natural clays, herbs, roots, and botanicals for color rather than synthetic dyes or micas, and we never use palm oil or artificial fragrance oils.
